When I first joined MECA, I had a serious problem with presentation. I was barely speaking in front of people. MECA gave me a voice and helped me build confidence... MECA gives you the experience of five years in a few.
That's what MECA taught us. We pitched, got rejected, and kept going learning to overcome hurdles, manage diverse teams, and build from scratch. The lessons we gained 20 years ago still guide us today.
MECA gave me a head start into the real world. It taught me how to take responsibility, manage pressure, and handle multiple tasks, all while still a student. Every mistake taught me something new.
MECA challenged me to step out of my comfort zone, interact with professionals, and take ownership of real responsibilities. I overcame fear, developed confidence, and adopted a growth mindset.
